These Terms govern your use of The Imposter. By installing or playing the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The app includes online multiplayer and real-time voice chat with other people. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age for online/voice interaction in your country) to use online features. Local (same-device) play has no account requirement.
When you play online you can choose a display name and an avatar, send text chat messages to the other players in your room, add players as friends and send them private messages and game invites, and (optionally) speak to them by voice. All of this is user-generated content. You are responsible for what you write and say, and you agree not to:
Do not put personal or identifying information in your display name, in text chat, or in voice chat. Room text chat messages are not private: every player in the room can read them. Private messages between friends are readable only by the two friends, but they are not end-to-end encrypted and the same rules apply to them.
We do not pre-approve or monitor chat in real time. We may remove content and restrict or block accounts that break these rules (see section 5). Content involving the sexual exploitation of minors, or credible threats of violence, may be reported to the relevant authorities where required by law.
Every chat message from another player has Report and Block buttons, and the 👥 players menu offers the same for any player (and for voice chat). When you report a chat message, its text is sent to us with your report. Your identity as the reporter is not shown to other players. You can also email abuse reports to mohammedosamagames@gmail.com. Reports are reviewed for safety. If a player violates these Terms we may take action, including removing content, restricting online access, or blocking the account. Before or instead of a restriction we may send a warning message that appears in the app and that you must acknowledge. Restrictions may be applied by the developer or by highest-level moderators, including from inside the app. A restricted account can no longer join rooms, send chat messages or private messages, add friends, send game invites or publish scores, and the account identifier is kept so the restriction stays in force; we may, however, invite a restricted account to one specific room (hosted by the game team) to discuss the restriction, and the account can use voice and text chat only in that room while the invitation is valid. Warnings and invitations are stored with your anonymous account identifier (see the Privacy Policy). Blocking is local to you and does not remove the other player from the game.
The app is free and supported by ads through Google AdMob. A banner ad is shown at the bottom of the screen, and an ad may be shown once when the app opens. Interstitial ads may be shown after every two completed games (local or online), with at least one minute between ads. Rewarded ads are always optional — you choose whether to watch one, and any reward is granted only after the ad is actually completed. Ad data handling is described in the Privacy Policy.
The app, its code, artwork, characters and branding are owned by ACGROUP and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works without written permission. You keep ownership of content you create, and grant us a limited license to operate and moderate the service (for example, to process a report you submit).
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue the app or any feature at any time. Online features depend on third-party services (Firebase, AdMob, voice relay) that are outside our control.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for interactions between players, loss of data or virtual items, or service interruptions. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
